Dr. Mahmoud Abdelghany received the 2017 - 2018 GME Resident Award for Research.  During his fellowship he had numerous national presentations as well as publications.  He had over 40 publications during his fellowship and was first author on over 35 of them.

 

In 2009 Residents and Fellows were invited to nominate their colleagues for the 2009 GME Resident/Fellow Awards for Teamwork. The person you nominate may have shown exceptional abilities to collaborate within their own residency, or as a consultant. Sometimes it is the trainee who coordinates the schedule, or the complex care of a specific patient. Maybe it is a trainee who gives GREAT handoffs at night by answering one question… How does this trainee demonstrate a commitment to or excellence in the teamwork of Medicine?
